Often, prediction market odds reflect a different perspective than those found at traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks may incorporate factors like public betting patterns and promotional offers, while this market relies on the collective wisdom of traders. If a significant discrepancy exists between the implied probability on Polymarket and sportsbook odds, it could indicate differing opinions on the likely winner. It’s important to remember that both represent probabilities, but are derived through different mechanisms and may appeal to different types of bettors.
