Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks often set initial lines to balance action, while this market allows traders to freely express their beliefs about the outcome. If a significant discrepancy exists between the two, arbitrage opportunities may arise. However, it’s important to remember that both represent probabilities as perceived by different groups—sportsbook analysts versus prediction market participants. Examining both can provide a more comprehensive view of the potential result.
