Generally, prediction market odds often reflect information and insights beyond those captured by traditional sportsbooks. While sportsbooks set lines based on statistical models and expert analysis, this market incorporates the wisdom of the crowd, allowing for a potentially more accurate assessment of the true probabilities. Discrepancies can arise from differing opinions on factors not easily quantifiable, or from the influence of large bets placed by informed traders. It's common to see prediction markets react quickly to new information, potentially leading to odds movements that diverge from sportsbook lines.
