Typically, prediction markets like Polymarket can offer a different perspective than traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks often incorporate a 'vig' or commission into their odds, representing their profit margin. Prediction market odds, driven by the collective wisdom of traders, tend to more closely reflect the true probabilities as perceived by the crowd. However, it's important to note that sportsbooks have different information and expertise, and may react to news more quickly, leading to temporary discrepancies. It's valuable to compare both to form a well-rounded view.
