Prediction market odds on this market often differ from traditional sportsbook lines due to the decentralized nature of trader-driven pricing. While sportsbooks may set their lines based on analytical models and risk management, this market reflects the collective wisdom of participants, which can lead to sharper or more volatile pricing depending on recent performance data, player form, and injury updates.
On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. On Polymarket, traders set the odds through their bets, creating a dynamic price that reflects real-time consensus. The current implied chance for each outcome is displayed as a percentage, derived from the total volume behind each choice. This mechanism allows rapid adjustments to new data, such as injuries or weather updates, without external influence.
