Prediction market odds often reflect the collective wisdom of a diverse group of forecasters, potentially differing from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and aim to balance action on both sides, while this market is driven purely by individuals willing to put their capital behind their beliefs. It’s common to see discrepancies, especially when public perception deviates from expert analysis or when new information emerges. Comparing the two can reveal where the crowd thinks sportsbooks might be mispricing the event.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism, where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the outcome. The price of a share directly corresponds to the implied probability of that outcome occurring. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders participate, the price adjusts to reflect the aggregated sentiment. Higher demand for shares in a particular outcome will drive its price up, increasing its implied probability, while increased selling pressure will have the opposite effect. This dynamic pricing ensures the market stays responsive to new information.
This market resolves around Sep 24, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the official result of the Xirui Han vs Yun Seong Chung match, as declared by the governing body of the competition. The platform will verify the result against widely available and trusted sources to ensure accuracy and fairness.
