Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks often set initial lines to balance action, while this market allows traders to freely adjust probabilities based on their own research and information. If there’s a significant discrepancy, it could indicate that the market believes the sportsbook has mispriced the event. However, it's important to remember that both represent probabilities of an outcome, and neither is guaranteed to be correct. Keep in mind that the market's price reflects the collective belief of those trading it.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the outcome. The price of a share directly corresponds to the implied probability of that outcome occurring. As more traders buy shares in a particular outcome, its price increases, and vice versa. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The market's price is determined solely by supply and demand among traders on Polymarket, reflecting their collective assessment of the event's likelihood. The current volume is $2,160.
This market resolves around Sep 21, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The result will be based on the official result of the Guiyang Nick Beamish vs Shanghui Li match. The platform will rely on publicly available and widely accepted sources to determine the winner. It’s important to note that the resolution process is designed to be objective and transparent, ensuring a fair outcome for all traders involved in this market.
