Prediction market odds often reflect the wisdom of the crowd, potentially differing from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks set initial lines based on their analysis, while this market allows anyone to express their belief about the outcome, leading to dynamic price adjustments. If a significant number of traders believe a sportsbook is mispricing the event, the prediction market odds will likely diverge. It’s common to see prediction markets outperform sportsbooks, particularly when information isn’t fully incorporated into the initial lines.
