Often, prediction market odds offer a different perspective than traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks typically incorporate a 'vig' or commission into their odds, representing their profit margin. This market, driven by the collective intelligence of traders, aims to reflect the true probability of an outcome, though discrepancies can still arise due to differing information or risk assessments. It’s common to see prediction markets move faster than sportsbooks to incorporate new information, potentially offering more efficient pricing. Analyzing both can provide a more comprehensive view.
