Prediction market odds often reflect the wisdom of the crowd, and can differ from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and to balance action, while this market is driven by individuals freely trading based on their own information and beliefs. If prediction market odds significantly diverge from sportsbook lines, it may indicate disagreement about the true probability of an outcome, or that the market has identified information not yet fully priced into sportsbook odds. It’s important to compare both to form a well-rounded view.
