Generally, prediction market odds tend to reflect the wisdom of the crowd, often proving more accurate than traditional sportsbook odds, especially as an event approaches. This is because prediction markets allow for continuous trading and adjustment based on new information and collective insight. However, sportsbook odds can sometimes offer initial value, particularly before significant volume enters this market. It’s worth comparing the implied probabilities from both sources to identify potential discrepancies and inform your trading strategy.
