Typically, prediction market odds offer a different perspective than those found at traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks often incorporate a 'vig' or commission into their odds, representing their profit margin. This market, being driven by user predictions, can sometimes offer more favorable odds, reflecting the collective wisdom of the crowd. However, it's important to note that prediction markets are also subject to their own biases and information asymmetries. Comparing the two can reveal discrepancies and potentially highlight opportunities for informed betting.
