Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks often set initial lines based on expert analysis and may incorporate a profit margin, while this market’s odds are determined by traders directly expressing their beliefs about the likely outcome. If a significant discrepancy exists, arbitrage opportunities may arise, where traders can profit by betting on both platforms. It's common to see prediction markets move faster to incorporate new information than sportsbooks, especially close to the event.
