Typically, prediction market odds offer a different perspective than traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks often incorporate a 'vig' or commission into their odds, representing their profit margin. This market, however, is driven by the collective wisdom of traders, potentially leading to more accurate probabilities, especially as the event approaches. While sportsbooks may initially set odds based on expert analysis, the prediction market dynamically adjusts based on real-time trading activity and information, potentially revealing discrepancies with initial sportsbook offerings.
