Typically, prediction market odds offer a different perspective than those found at traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks often incorporate a 'vig' or commission into their odds, while Polymarket allows traders to directly assess the probability of an outcome. This can lead to discrepancies, with this market potentially offering more favorable odds depending on how information is priced in. It’s common to see prediction markets reflect the 'wisdom of the crowd' more accurately than initial sportsbook lines, especially as new information becomes available.
