Often, prediction market odds reflect a different perspective than those found at traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks typically incorporate a 'vig' or commission into their odds, while this market allows traders to directly assess the probabilities. This can lead to discrepancies, with prediction markets sometimes offering more favorable odds, especially when there's strong disagreement with the broader public. However, it's important to remember that both represent probabilities, and comparing them can reveal where the 'wisdom of the crowd' differs from professional oddsmakers. Analyzing these differences can inform your trading strategy.
