Generally, prediction market odds tend to reflect the wisdom of the crowd, often proving more accurate than traditional sportsbook odds, especially when considering information not fully priced into the sportsbook lines. While sportsbooks set initial lines based on statistical models and expert opinions, this market allows anyone to participate and adjust the odds based on their own insights. It’s common to see discrepancies, particularly before significant events or when new information emerges, as the market dynamically incorporates diverse perspectives.
