On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the outcome. As more traders buy shares in a particular outcome, its price increases, reflecting a higher perceived probability. Conversely, selling shares drives the price down. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of a share directly corresponds to the implied probability of that outcome occurring. This dynamic pricing ensures that the market reflects the most up-to-date collective assessment of the event's likelihood.

Traders holding shares in the winning outcome will be entitled to a payout based on the final market price at the time of resolution.
Several factors could influence the price of this market before resolution. Any news regarding the players' form, injuries, or changes in their playing schedule could significantly impact trader sentiment. Unexpected weather conditions at the tournament location could also play a role, potentially affecting the match's outcome. Furthermore, major shifts in public opinion or the emergence of new information about the players' head-to-head record could drive trading activity and alter the probabilities reflected in this market.
