Typically, prediction market odds reflect a different set of information and incentives than those found at traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks often incorporate a 'vig' or commission into their odds, while prediction markets aim to represent the true probability as assessed by traders. This market, like others, may show differences compared to initial sportsbook lines due to factors like differing levels of information, the influence of expert opinions, and the wisdom of the crowd. It’s common to see prediction markets move independently of sportsbook odds as new information emerges.
