Prediction market odds often reflect the collective wisdom of a diverse group of traders, potentially differing from those set by traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks typically set initial odds based on statistical models and expert analysis, while this market allows anyone to express their belief about the outcome. If sportsbook odds heavily favor one competitor, but this market shows a more balanced probability distribution, it could indicate disagreement with the conventional wisdom. These discrepancies can present opportunities for informed traders, though it’s important to consider the different factors influencing each type of oddsmaking.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the probability of a particular outcome. The price of a share directly corresponds to the implied probability of that outcome occurring. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders buy shares in a specific outcome, the price increases, reflecting growing confidence. Conversely, increased selling pressure drives the price down. This dynamic process ensures that the market price reflects the aggregated expectations of all participants, creating a real-time assessment of the likely result.

Resolution will be based on the official result of the M15 Kursumlijska Banja match between Cem Christopher Kucukhuseyin and Samuil Chestovaliev.
