Typically, prediction market odds offer a different perspective compared to traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks often include a 'vig' or commission, which influences the implied probabilities. This market, being driven by collective prediction, can sometimes offer more accurate probabilities, especially as the event approaches and more information becomes available. However, sportsbook odds reflect the views of professional oddsmakers and may incorporate different types of information, such as team news or injury reports. It’s useful to compare both to form a well-rounded expectation.
