Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks often set initial lines based on statistical models and expert analysis, while this market allows anyone to trade on their beliefs, potentially leading to more accurate probabilities as more information is incorporated. Discrepancies can arise due to differing opinions, risk assessments, or the influence of large bettors. Comparing the odds can reveal where the market believes there’s an edge, or where sportsbooks may have mispriced the event.
