Prediction market odds often reflect the wisdom of the crowd, potentially differing from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own analysis and incorporate a profit margin, while this market is driven by the collective predictions of traders. If a significant discrepancy exists, arbitrage opportunities may arise. It's common to see prediction markets react quickly to new information, potentially leading to odds movements that precede changes at sportsbooks. Examining both sources can provide a more comprehensive understanding of the expected outcome.
