Often, prediction market odds reflect a different perspective than those found at traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks typically incorporate a 'vig' or commission into their odds, while this market allows traders to directly assess the probability of an outcome. This can lead to discrepancies, as prediction markets aggregate the wisdom of the crowd and are less susceptible to biases inherent in sportsbook setting. It's also common to see prediction markets move faster to incorporate new information, potentially offering a more up-to-date assessment of the likely result.
