Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd, often differing from initial sportsbook odds which are set by professional oddsmakers. Sportsbooks may incorporate biases or focus on specific information, while this market aggregates the beliefs of many individuals. If a significant discrepancy exists, arbitrage opportunities may arise, where traders can profit by simultaneously betting on both the prediction market and a sportsbook. However, it's important to note that sportsbook odds are influenced by factors like house edge and betting limits, which aren't present in this market.
