On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism. Traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the likelihood of each outcome. As more shares are traded, the price adjusts to reflect the collective assessment of the crowd. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of a share directly corresponds to the implied probability of that outcome occurring; a higher price indicates greater confidence in that result. This dynamic pricing allows for real-time adjustments based on new information and changing sentiment.
This market resolves around Oct 2, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Resolution will be based on the official result of the Daryabeigi vs Chavez fight as determined by the relevant sporting authorities. The market will then settle to 100% probability for the winning outcome, or to 100% probability for a draw if the fight ends in a draw. The final price of shares will reflect this outcome, and traders will be able to claim their winnings or cover their losses.
Several factors could influence the price of shares in this market before Oct 2, 2026. Any news regarding fighter injuries, changes in training regimens, or even pre-fight press conference statements could shift trader sentiment. Unexpected betting patterns in traditional sportsbooks might also attract attention and impact trading activity. Furthermore, any updates on the fighters’ physical condition or strategic approaches leading up to the fight could cause the market to re-evaluate the probabilities of each outcome and adjust prices accordingly.
