Typically, prediction market odds offer a different perspective than those found at traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks often incorporate a 'vig' or commission into their odds, which represents their profit margin. This market, being driven by user predictions, can sometimes offer more favorable odds, reflecting the collective wisdom of the crowd. However, sportsbook odds benefit from professional analysis and risk management, so discrepancies can arise based on differing information and approaches to assessing the players’ chances. It’s useful to compare both to form a well-rounded view.
