Typically, prediction market odds offer a different perspective than those found at traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks often incorporate a 'vig' or commission into their odds, representing their profit margin. This market, driven by the collective intelligence of traders, aims to reflect the true probability of an outcome. While sportsbooks may initially set odds based on expert analysis, prediction markets can rapidly adjust based on new information and diverse opinions, potentially offering more accurate probabilities as the event approaches. It's valuable to compare both to form a well-rounded view.
