Prediction market odds often reflect the wisdom of the crowd, potentially differing from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks set their lines based on their own models and to balance action, while this market is driven by individuals freely trading based on their own analysis. If there’s a significant discrepancy, it could indicate that the market believes the sportsbook has mispriced the outcome, or that new information hasn’t yet been fully incorporated into sportsbook lines. It’s common to see prediction markets move faster to incorporate new information than sportsbooks.
