Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks often set initial lines based on statistical models and expert analysis, while this market allows anyone to trade on their beliefs. If a significant number of traders believe a sportsbook has mispriced an outcome, they can express that view by trading in the opposite direction. This dynamic can lead to prediction market odds becoming more accurate, or at least representing a different perspective on the likely result of the match.
