Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd, often differing from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks set lines based on their own models and to balance action, while this market aggregates the views of many individual bettors. If a significant discrepancy exists between the two, opportunities for arbitrage may arise. However, it’s important to note that prediction markets often incorporate information and analysis that isn’t immediately reflected in sportsbook lines, potentially leading to more accurate predictions.
