Typically, prediction market odds offer a different perspective than those found at traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks often incorporate a 'vig' or commission into their odds, while this market allows traders to directly assess probabilities. Discrepancies can arise due to differing information sources, biases among bettors, and the wisdom of the crowd effect. If you find a significant difference between the implied probability on Polymarket and sportsbook odds, it may signal an opportunity for informed traders to capitalize on perceived mispricings. It’s important to compare and contrast to form your own opinion.
