Prediction market odds often reflect the collective wisdom of a diverse group of participants, potentially offering a different perspective than traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks set their lines based on their own models and risk management, while this market is driven by individual traders’ beliefs. It's common to see discrepancies between the two, especially before significant events or when new information emerges. Comparing the odds can be a useful exercise for informed decision-making, but remember that each represents a distinct form of forecasting.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the probability of a particular outcome. The price of a share directly corresponds to the implied probability of that outcome occurring. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders buy shares in a specific outcome, its price increases, reflecting growing confidence. Conversely, selling pressure lowers the price. This dynamic process ensures that the market price continuously adjusts to incorporate new information and changing sentiment.

The resolution will be based on the official result of the Baku M15 match between Oscar Brown and Tamerlan Azizov, as reported by a recognized tennis authority. The platform will verify the result against publicly available sources to determine which outcome corresponds to the actual event result and settle the market accordingly.
