Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks often set initial lines to balance action, while this market allows traders to freely adjust probabilities based on their own analysis and information. If there’s disagreement between the two, it could signal an opportunity for value betting. However, it’s important to remember that both represent probabilities of an outcome, and discrepancies can arise due to differing opinions or access to information. Examining these differences can be a useful exercise for informed decision-making.
