Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks often set initial lines based on statistical models and expert analysis, while this market aggregates the opinions of many individuals. Discrepancies can arise due to differing information, biases, or risk assessments among participants. If a significant difference exists between the two, it may present an opportunity for arbitrage, where traders can profit by simultaneously betting on both platforms. However, it’s important to note that market efficiency varies, and such opportunities are not always present.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism, where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the outcome. The price of a share directly corresponds to the implied probability of that outcome occurring. As more traders buy shares in a particular outcome, its price increases, and vice versa. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The market’s price reflects the collective judgment of all participants, constantly adjusting as new information becomes available or sentiment shifts. This dynamic pricing ensures that the market remains responsive to evolving perceptions of the event's likelihood.
This market resolves around Sep 28, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the official result of the Dolzhenkov vs Saritas match, as determined by the governing body of the competition. The platform will verify the outcome against publicly available and trusted sources to ensure accuracy and transparency. Traders will then be able to claim their winnings or adjust their positions based on the final result. It’s important to monitor official sources for updates as the resolution date approaches.
