In the upcoming UEFA Women's World Cup Qualification game between Luxembourg and Belgium, scheduled for June 9, 2026 at 1:00 PM ET: This market will resolve based on the final score of the Luxembourg vs. Belgium match originally scheduled for June 9, 2026 at 1:00 PM ET, considering only the result at the end of 90 minutes of regulation plus stoppage time; extra time and penalty shoot-outs are excluded. If the actual score is not one of the explicitly listed outcomes, the market resolves to "Any Other Score." If the match is postponed, the market will remain open until it is completed; if it is canceled with no make-up game, the market resolves to "0-0." The primary resolution source for this market is the official statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome.
On Polymarket, the Luxembourg vs. Belgium exact-score market is priced as a set of binary contracts, each representing one possible final score. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. Traders buy and sell shares at prices between 0 and 1 (or 0–100 cents), with the price reflecting the crowd's estimated probability of that outcome. As match conditions change—injuries, weather, team news—traders adjust positions, moving prices up or down. The most liquid scorelines typically show tighter bid-ask spreads, while less-common outcomes may have wider gaps between buy and sell prices.
The market resolves on Jun 9, 2026, after the final whistle of the Luxembourg vs. Belgium match. Resolution is determined by the official final score recorded by the match officials and confirmed by the relevant football governing bodies. The exact-score contract corresponding to the true final result will settle to 1 (or 100 cents), while all other scoreline contracts settle to 0. Any overtime or penalty-shootout goals count toward the final tally used for resolution.
Key catalysts include team news such as injuries to star players, official lineup announcements, and recent form or head-to-head history. Weather conditions on match day—rain, wind, or extreme heat—can favor certain playing styles and affect scoring patterns. Betting-market activity and sharp-money flows often precede price shifts on prediction markets. Tactical adjustments revealed in pre-match press conferences, referee assignments, and venue-specific factors (home advantage, pitch conditions) also influence trader expectations. Social media sentiment and expert analysis can trigger rapid repricing as new information emerges.
