Description

This event determines the outcome of the first half in a professional soccer match between two teams. The result depends on which team leads after the initial 45 minutes of play, including any added stoppage time. If neither team scores or they score equally, the result is a tie.

Kalshi

The event resolves based on the first-half performance of Louisville City and El Paso Locomotive FC in their scheduled USL Championship soccer match. If Louisville City scores more goals than El Paso Locomotive FC by the end of the first 45 minutes plus any stoppage time, the 'Louisville City wins 1st Half' market resolves to Yes. Conversely, if El Paso Locomotive FC scores more goals in that period, the 'El Paso Locomotive FC wins 1st Half' market resolves to Yes. Should both teams score the same number of goals, or if no goals are scored, the 'Tie 1st Half' market resolves to Yes. If the match is canceled or rescheduled to more than 48 hours beyond the original date, all markets resolve to a fair price as determined by the platform.
