Generally, prediction market odds often reflect a wisdom-of-the-crowd perspective, potentially differing from sportsbook odds which can be influenced by house biases or promotional offers. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and ensure profit, while this market relies on traders directly expressing their beliefs about the likelihood of each outcome. It’s common to see discrepancies, especially if there’s significant public information not fully incorporated into sportsbook lines, or if a large amount of volume flows into a specific outcome on Polymarket.
This market resolves around Sep 19, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the official result of the second half of the Louisville City FC versus Loudoun United FC match. The platform will verify the result against established sports data sources to determine which outcome is the winner. Traders holding shares in the correct outcome will be entitled to a payout based on the final market price at the time of resolution.
