On Kalshi, this market is priced through a continuous order book, meaning traders are constantly buying and selling contracts representing each possible outcome. The price of each contract reflects the market’s collective probability of that outcome occurring. On Kalshi, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more people buy contracts for a particular team, the price increases, and the implied probability rises. Conversely, selling contracts lowers the price and reduces the implied probability. This dynamic pricing mechanism ensures the market reflects the most up-to-date information and expectations.
This market resolves around Sep 13, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The winner of the 3rd quarter of the Louisiana Tech vs LSU game will determine the winning contract. The resolution will be based on official game results as reported by a trusted sports data source. Traders holding contracts for the winning team will receive a payout, while those holding contracts for losing teams will not.
Several factors could influence trading activity in this market. Any news regarding injuries to key players on either the Louisiana Tech or LSU teams would likely cause significant movement. Changes in weather conditions, particularly if they are expected to favor one team's playing style, could also impact prices. Furthermore, any late-breaking news about team strategies or coaching decisions could shift trader sentiment. Public perception, as reflected in polls or expert analysis, can also play a role, though this market represents a distinct, independent forecast.
