All markets resolve based solely on points scored during the first half of the Louisiana Tech vs Baylor college football game scheduled for September 19, 2026. If Baylor wins the first half by more than the specified margin listed in the market title, that market resolves to Yes; if Louisiana Tech wins by more than the specified margin, the corresponding market for Louisiana Tech resolves to Yes. If neither team meets their respective margin threshold, the market resolves to No. Should the game be postponed but commence within 48 hours of the original start time, all markets remain active and resolve based on the official result. Prediction market odds often reflect the wisdom of the crowd, potentially differing from initial sportsbook lines which are often set by analysts. Sportsbooks may initially emphasize public perception or biases, while this market allows anyone to trade on their beliefs. As more information becomes available—such as injury reports or weather forecasts—both prediction markets and sportsbooks will adjust their odds. However, prediction markets can sometimes offer more accurate forecasts, especially closer to the event, as they aggregate a wider range of perspectives and incentives.

Traders will then be able to claim their winnings based on the final spread compared to the contracts they held.
Several factors could influence the price of this market before resolution. News regarding key player injuries for either Louisiana Tech or Baylor would likely have a significant impact. Changes in weather conditions, particularly if they affect the teams' playing styles, could also move the market. Unexpected announcements about coaching strategies or team morale could also play a role. Finally, any large volume trades on Kalshi itself, indicating strong conviction from market participants, could cause noticeable price shifts.
