These markets track the total points scored by both teams in the first half of a college football game between Louisiana-Monroe and UAB. Each market has a different threshold for the total points needed to resolve as 'Yes'.
All markets resolve based on the total points scored by both teams in the first half of the Louisiana-Monroe vs UAB college football game scheduled for September 12, 2026. For each market, if the combined score exceeds the specified threshold (e.g., Over 2.5, Over 6.5, etc.), the market resolves to Yes; otherwise, it resolves to No. Only points scored during the first half count. If the game is postponed but starts within 48 hours of the original time, the market remains open and resolves based on the final result. If the game does not start within 48 hours, the market resolves to a fair price. Kalshi is not affiliated with the NCAA, and all trademarks remain the property of their respective owners.
Generally, prediction market odds tend to reflect the wisdom of the crowd, often aligning closely with sportsbook odds but sometimes diverging based on unique information or perspectives held by traders. Sportsbooks set their lines based on statistical models and expert analysis, while this market allows anyone to trade on their beliefs about the outcome. Discrepancies can arise due to differing risk assessments or the influence of public opinion. It’s common to see prediction markets offer slightly different probabilities than traditional sportsbooks, especially as new information becomes available.
This market resolves around Sep 12, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The final point total scored in the first half of the UAB versus Louisiana-Monroe game will be used to determine whether the 'over' or 'under' contract pays out. The resolution will be based on official game statistics, ensuring an objective and transparent result. Traders will be able to see the final result reflected in their account balances shortly after the game concludes and the official score is confirmed.
Several factors could influence the price of this market before it resolves. Any news regarding key player injuries for either UAB or Louisiana-Monroe would likely have a significant impact. Changes in weather forecasts, particularly if they suggest a high-scoring or low-scoring game, could also move the market. Late-breaking news about team strategies or coaching decisions might also affect trader sentiment. Finally, large volume trades on Kalshi itself can create price fluctuations as traders react to new information or attempt to capitalize on perceived mispricings.
