Only points scored during the third quarter count toward the resolution. On Kalshi, this market is priced through a continuous order book where traders bid and ask for contracts representing different point spreads. The price of a contract indicates the probability that the actual third-quarter spread will fall on the favorable side of that spread. On Kalshi, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders participate, the price adjusts to reflect the evolving consensus. Buying a contract is essentially betting that the spread will land in your favor, while selling a contract is betting against it. The market dynamically adjusts based on supply and demand, providing a real-time assessment of expectations.
This market resolves around Sep 6, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The final third-quarter spread of the Louisiana-Monroe vs Mississippi St. game will be used to determine which contracts pay out. Several factors could influence the price of this market before the game concludes. Any news regarding injuries to key players on either the Louisiana-Monroe or Mississippi St. teams could significantly shift expectations. Changes in weather forecasts, particularly if they are expected to impact the game's style of play, could also play a role.
