Los Heretics and GIANTX PRIDE compete in the second map of their League of Legends match scheduled for July 23, 2026. The winner of this individual map will be determined by in-game performance and strategic execution.
Resolution depends on the outcome of map 2 in the specified match. If the map is postponed and not completed within 48 hours of the originally scheduled start time (1:30 PM EDT on Jul 23, 2026), the market resolves to fair market price. If the match or map is cancelled before play begins, or if a match is forfeited before any play occurs, the market resolves to fair market price. If a map is forfeited before any play occurs in that map, the market resolves to fair market price. If a map begins and is subsequently forfeited, the market resolves according to the official result published by the governing body or tournament organizer.
Prediction market odds and sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different participant bases and incentive structures. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and lock in profit margins, while prediction markets aggregate the beliefs of traders risking real capital on outcomes. This market aggregates trader conviction without the sportsbook's built-in margin, potentially offering a purer signal of perceived probability. Comparing the two can reveal where professional bettors and casual traders disagree on the likely result.
On Kalshi, this market is priced through an order-book mechanism where traders buy and sell contracts representing each possible outcome. On Kalshi, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of each contract reflects the collective estimate of that outcome's probability, ranging from near-zero to near-100. As new information emerges or trader sentiment shifts, bids and asks adjust in real time, allowing you to enter or exit your position at the prevailing market price.
This market resolves around Jul 23, 2026, once the Map 2 match concludes and the result is verifiable from credible public sources. The outcome will be confirmed based on which team emerges victorious in that specific map. Until that point, traders can continue to buy and sell contracts as new developments and analysis inform their views on the likely winner.
Key catalysts include roster changes, recent team performance trends, and head-to-head map history between the two squads. In-game events such as early round wins, economy management, and player standout performances can shift trader expectations as the match unfolds. Pre-match analysis from esports commentators and team announcements about strategy or player form may also influence positioning. Watch for any last-minute roster adjustments or tactical shifts that could alter perceived map advantage.
