Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd and can differ from traditional sportsbook odds. Sportsbooks often set initial lines to balance action, while this market’s odds are driven purely by traders’ willingness to buy or sell based on their individual assessments. If prediction market odds diverge significantly from sportsbook lines, it might suggest the market believes the sportsbook has mispriced the event. However, it’s important to remember that both represent probabilities, and discrepancies can arise due to differing information or perspectives.
