These are fundamentally different betting propositions despite referencing the same underlying game.
If either team scores a run in the first inning of the Los Angeles D vs Minnesota professional baseball game originally scheduled for Jun 23, 2026 at 7:40 PM EDT, then the market resolves to Yes.
In the upcoming MLB game between the Los Angeles Dodgers and Minnesota Twins, scheduled for June 24 at 7:40PM ET: This market will resolve to "Los Angeles Dodgers" if the Los Angeles Dodgers win the game. This market will resolve to "Minnesota Twins" if the Minnesota Twins win the game. If the game is postponed, this market will remain open until the game has been completed. If the game is canceled entirely, with no make-up game, or ends in a tie, this market will resolve 50-50. The primary resolution source for this market is the official final statistics of the event as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 24 hours after the event's conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead.
Lineup announcements—particularly the insertion or absence of power hitters—can shift first-inning scoring odds significantly. Starting pitcher matchups and recent bullpen performance also influence early-inning run probability. Weather conditions at game time, such as wind direction and temperature, affect ball carry and may favor offensive or defensive play. Injury updates to key batters or pitchers in the days before the game can trigger sharp repricing. Late-breaking team news, such as roster moves or manager comments on aggressive early-inning strategy, may also drive meaningful market movement closer to first pitch.
