This event tracks whether individual players achieve specific total bases thresholds in the LAA vs AZ game on June 15, 2026. Total bases are calculated from hits, with singles worth 1 base, doubles worth 2, triples worth 3, and home runs worth 4. Players must be in the starting lineup and record at least one plate appearance for the market to settle on actual performance.
Settlement is based on total bases recorded by each player during the game scheduled for June 15, 2026 at 9:40 PM EDT. For all players, if scratched or not included in the starting lineup, the market resolves to fair market price. If a player starts but records no plate appearance, the market resolves to fair market price. If a player enters the game as a pinch hitter without starting, the market resolves to fair market price and pinch-hit at-bats do not count. Only players in the starting lineup who record at least one plate appearance will have their market settle based on actual total bases accumulated during the game.
Prediction market odds and sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different participant bases and incentive structures. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and lock in profit margins, while prediction markets like this one are driven by trader conviction and real-money stakes. This market's odds may lead or lag sportsbook totals depending on information flow and trader positioning. Comparing the two can reveal where professional bettors and casual predictors disagree on total bases, offering insight into market inefficiencies and consensus strength.
On Kalshi, this market is priced through continuous order-book matching, where traders buy and sell shares representing different total base outcomes. On Kalshi, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The platform converts order flow into implied probabilities displayed as percentages, allowing you to see the real-time cost of taking either side. Prices update instantly as new trades execute, and wider spreads typically indicate lower liquidity or higher uncertainty. Your entry and exit prices depend on the depth of the order book at the moment you trade.
This market resolves around Jun 16, 2026, once the Angels–Arizona game concludes and the final total bases are verified. The outcome is determined by counting all bases earned by both teams combined—singles, doubles, triples, and home runs. Resolution relies on credible public reporting of the official box score. Until that point, traders can adjust positions as new information emerges, injury reports surface, or weather conditions shift expectations.
Key catalysts include lineup announcements, starting pitcher confirmations, and injury updates for both teams. Weather conditions—wind speed and direction at the stadium—significantly affect ball carry and total bases. Recent offensive form, bullpen availability, and head-to-head matchup history all influence trader expectations. Breaking news about player availability or last-minute roster changes can trigger sharp price moves. As game time nears, this market typically tightens as uncertainty resolves and the true probabilities become clearer to the crowd.
