Description

This market refers to the LoL match between ZYB Esport and Joblife in the LFL Regular Season, initially scheduled for April 17 at 3:00PM ET. This market will resolve to "ZYB Esport" if ZYB Esport win the match against Joblife. This market will resolve to "Joblife" if Joblife win the match against ZYB Esport. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://gol.gg/esports/home. However, if https://gol.gg/esports/home has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

PredictionHero - Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA)

Issue:

Polymarket includes comprehensive match and in-game outcome markets with detailed resolution rules for cancellations, forfeits, and game-specific conditions, while Kalshi offers only a binary match winner market with minimal detail. The scope and granularity differ significantly across platforms.

Hero Tip:

If you trade on Polymarket, you have exposure to six distinct markets (match winner, dragon kills, baron kills, inhibitor destruction, quadra kill, penta kill, and kill parity) with nuanced edge-case handling. On Kalshi, you only have a simple binary on match outcome. Polymarket offers more trading opportunities but also more resolution risk; Kalshi is simpler but offers no in-game outcome markets. Ensure your hedge strategy accounts for the fact that Kalshi will resolve YES if either team wins, making it a pure match-play bet with no in-game granularity.

Critical Divergence Points:

  • Polymarket:

Seven distinct markets covering match winner (ZYB Esport vs Joblife), dragon slays, baron slays, inhibitor destruction, quadra kills, penta kills, and total kill parity. Each market has detailed resolution rules including 50-50 outcomes for cancellations, forfeits, delays beyond 7 days, and incomplete games. Resolution source is gol.gg with 2-hour fallback to credible reporting. Key quote: 'If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50.'
  • Kalshi:

Single binary market: resolves YES if Joblife wins OR if ZYB Esport wins the match scheduled for Apr 17, 2026 at 3:00 PM EDT. No in-game outcome markets, no detailed edge-case handling, and no explicit cancellation or delay rules provided. The market structure implies YES resolution for any decisive match outcome but lacks specificity on forfeits, delays, or tie scenarios.
