Description

This market refers to the LoL match between ZYB Esport and Galions in the LFL Regular Season, initially scheduled for April 15 at 2:00PM ET. This market will resolve to "ZYB Esport" if ZYB Esport win the match against Galions. This market will resolve to "Galions" if Galions win the match against ZYB Esport. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://gol.gg/esports/home. However, if https://gol.gg/esports/home has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

Issue:

Kalshi's two markets both resolve to YES regardless of match outcome (logical contradiction), while Polymarket's markets contain coherent, mutually exclusive resolution criteria. Kalshi's markets are fundamentally unresolvable due to contradictory logic.

Hero Tip:

Avoid trading Kalshi markets in this group — both markets state they resolve YES if either team wins, making them logically identical and unresolvable. Polymarket's markets are tradeable and contain clear, distinct resolution paths for each outcome and game-state scenario.

Critical Divergence Points:

  • Kalshi: Outlier: Both Kalshi markets (Galions win and ZYB Esport win) resolve to YES under identical conditions, creating a logical contradiction where the market cannot distinguish between outcomes. Key quote: 'If Galions wins... then the market resolves to Yes. If ZYB Esport wins... then the market resolves to Yes.' This makes both markets simultaneously true, which is impossible.
  • Polymarket: Distinct stance: Polymarket provides mutually exclusive resolution criteria — the match winner market resolves to the team name of the victor, with clear 50-50 fallback rules for cancellation, tie, delay beyond 7 days, or forfeit. Game-state markets (Baron, Dragon, Inhibitors, Penta/Quadra Kills, Odd/Even Kills) each contain specific YES/NO conditions tied to observable in-game events, with 50-50 resolution for non-play scenarios. Key quote: 'This market will resolve to "ZYB Esport" if ZYB Esport win the match against Galions. This market will resolve to "Galions" if Galions win the match against ZYB Esport.'
