This prediction group covers the League of Legends match between White Dragons and Dominion Goblins in the LPLOL Playoffs. Markets include predictions on the overall match winner, individual game winners, and in-game events like Baron Nashor kills and inhibitor destructions. There are also markets on total games played and specific player achievements.
This market refers to the LoL Semifinal 2 match between White Dragons and Dominion Goblins in the LPLOL Playoffs, initially scheduled for September 8, 2026 at 2:00 PM ET. This market will resolve to "White Dragons" if White Dragons win the match against Dominion Goblins. This market will resolve to "Dominion Goblins" if Dominion Goblins win the match against White Dragons. If the match is canceled (not played at all) or ends in a tie, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match is postponed, it must be rescheduled to a start time on or before September 22, 2026 at 11:59 PM ET (14 calendar days after the originally scheduled start of September 8, 2026 at 2:00 PM ET). If, by that deadline, the most recently announced rescheduled start time is on or before the deadline, this market resolves based on the result of the match as played. Otherwise, this market resolves 50-50, regardless of whether the match is subsequently played. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://gol.gg/esports/home. However, if https://gol.gg/esports/home has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.
The market resolves based on the official result of the LPLOL 2026 match between Dominion Goblins and White Dragons, scheduled for September 8, 2026, at 2:00 PM EDT. If Dominion Goblins wins the match, their market resolves to Yes, and the White Dragons’ market resolves to No, and vice versa for a White Dragons victory. If the match is postponed and does not start within 48 hours of its original scheduled time, or if it is cancelled or forfeited before any play occurs, both markets resolve to the fair market price. If the match begins but is later forfeited, the outcome is determined by the official result published by the governing body or tournament organizer. Prediction market odds, like those found in this market, often reflect the collective wisdom of a diverse group of traders, potentially offering a different perspective than traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks set odds based on their own models and risk assessment, while prediction markets aggregate the opinions of many individuals with skin in the game. This can lead to discrepancies, particularly when there's significant public information or disagreement about the likely outcome. It’s common to see prediction markets react more quickly to new information than sportsbooks, as traders can immediately adjust their positions.
Prices on Polymarket and Kalshi may differ due to variations in trader participation, market design, and the specific questions offered. Polymarket and Kalshi can show different implied probabilities for the same outcome because of liquidity, fee structure, participant mix, and how each venue defines the contract. Each platform attracts a different user base with varying levels of expertise and risk tolerance, influencing price discovery. Furthermore, the liquidity and volume on each platform can impact price volatility and spread. Currently, Polymarket currently favors Game 4: Both Teams Slay Baron Nashor? at 99, while Kalshi leans toward White Dragons wins at n/a, illustrating these potential divergences in market sentiment.
Several factors could influence trading activity and shift prices in this market. Unexpected news regarding player form, team strategies, or potential roster changes could all have an impact. In-game performance during the series, such as dominant victories or surprising upsets in early matches, will likely cause significant price movements. Major upsets or unexpected drafts could also shift the perceived probabilities. Any information that alters the perceived likelihood of either team winning the series is likely to move this market.
