PredictionHero - Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA)

Unified Resolution Criteria (Consistent across platforms)

All Kalshi and Polymarket markets apply identical cancellation, delay, forfeit, and remake logic; all reference gol.gg as primary source with 2-hour fallback window; all treat surrenders as conditional on pre-stoppage state.Primary resolution logic: gol.gg/esports/home (official); consensus of credible reporting and video evidence if unpublished within 2 hours post-event

Core resolution logic:

  • Match outcome (VfB eSports vs Unicorns Of Love Sexy Edition) resolves to winning team if match completes; 50-50 if canceled, tied, delayed beyond 7 days, or ends in forfeit/disqualification/walkover before play begins
  • In-game objective markets (Baron, Dragons, Inhibitors, Kills parity) resolve based on Game 1 state prior to stoppage if match surrenders; 50-50 if match never plays or series already determined
  • Rare event markets (Quadra Kill, Penta Kill) resolve Yes if event occurs prior to stoppage; No if no event occurs; 50-50 if match never plays
  • Remade games reset all conditions; resolution based solely on remade game outcome
  • Forfeit, disqualification, or walkover before match start: match outcome resolves 50-50; in-game stat markets resolve 50-50

Edge cases & clarifications:

  • Match Canceled or Delayed Beyond 7 Days: All markets resolve 50-50 if match not played or winner not determined within 7 days of scheduled date (July 1, 2026)
  • Forfeit/Disqualification/Walkover Before Play: Match outcome resolves 50-50; in-game stat markets resolve 50-50 (no Game 1 played)
  • Series Already Determined Before Game 1: Game 1 in-game stat markets resolve 50-50 if series clinched before Game 1 is needed
  • Match Begins, Then Surrenders: Match outcome resolves to surrendering team's opponent; in-game stat markets resolve based on state prior to surrender (e.g., if no Quadra Kill occurred before surrender, resolves No)
  • Game 1 Remade: All Game 1 markets reset; resolution based on remade game only, not original attempt
Timing: Resolution occurs upon official publication by gol.gg/esports/home or within 2 hours post-event conclusion; if unpublished, consensus reporting and video evidence used as fallback. Match scheduled July 1, 2026, 2:00 PM EDT.Our PredictionHero Resolution Divergence Alerts (RDA) are there to help users identify potential differences across platforms. They do not replace or supersede the official rules and description of any prediction market. Users are solely responsible for reviewing and understanding the applicable rules and resolution criteria before placing any trade or bet. If you notice a potential inconsistency, discrepancy, or error in an alert, please report it to our team so we can review and improve the accuracy of our data.

Polymarket

This market will resolve to "VfB eSports" if VfB eSports win the match against Unicorns Of Love Sexy Edition. This market will resolve to "Unicorns Of Love Sexy Edition" if Unicorns Of Love Sexy Edition win the match against VfB eSports. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://gol.gg/esports/home. However, if https://gol.gg/esports/home has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

Frequently asked questions

Prediction markets and traditional sportsbooks price events differently. Sportsbooks set odds to balance their book and lock in profit margins, while prediction markets are peer-to-peer exchanges where traders set prices based on their beliefs. This market's odds on Polymarket and Kalshi reflect what thousands of independent traders think will happen, often incorporating faster-moving information and niche insights. Sportsbook odds tend to be slower to adjust and include built-in margins. Comparing the two can reveal where public perception diverges from professional oddsmaking.

Polymarket and Kalshi can show different implied probabilities for the same outcome because of liquidity, fee structure, participant mix, and how each venue defines the contract. Each platform attracts different trader demographics, liquidity pools, and contract designs. Kalshi and Polymarket may frame outcomes differently—one might focus on match winner while the other tracks in-game events like penta kills. Liquidity depth, fee structures, and user base composition also drive wedges between prices. These gaps create arbitrage opportunities for sharp traders but typically narrow as the event date approaches and information becomes more certain. Monitoring both platforms reveals where consensus is strongest and where disagreement persists.
